Day 1. Arrive Toronto. Upon arrival in Toronto you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Three Night Stay: Toronto, Fairmont Royal York.
Day 2. CN Tower, Toronto Sights. Join your Tour Director and fellow travellers for a Welcome Reception. After breakfast enjoy a tour of Toronto including a visit to the CN Tower. The afternoon is free for you to discover Toronto. B
 Day 3. Niagara Falls. Today we journey to Niagara Falls. Straddling America and Canada, Niagara Falls is actually a series of three separate waterfalls – the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls and the smaller Bridal Veil Falls. Board the famous Maid of the Mist and see the plunging waters of the falls up close. Return to Toronto this evening for dinner. BD
Day 4. 1,000 Islands, Ottawa. Today we embark on a cruise of the 1,000 Islands, scattered through St Lawrence Seaway. Head inland to the capital of Canada, Ottawa.Two Night Stay: Ottawa, Westin Hotel. B
Day 5. Ottawa Sights. Our morning tour will take in the main attractions including Parliament Hill, Embassy Row, Rideau Canal and the ByWard Market. The afternoon is at leisure. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. BD
Day 6. Québec City. Continue north to the ideological core of French Canada. With a history dating back to 1608, Québec City is rich in historical treasures and is the only walled city in North America. Québec City’s earliest population included Native Americans as well as settlers from France and England. Tonight, dine at the award-winning restaurant L’Astral. Two Night Stay: Québec City, Loews le Concorde Hotel. BD
Day 7. Freedom of Choice Touring, Québec at Leisure. This morning, join your selected touring activity, later explore the old quarter. Wander the winding cobblestone streets, restaurants and boutiques housed in buildings over 400 years old. Perhaps take an included trip to the Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, built as a shrine to honour St Anne, the patron saint of Québec. Learn about the history of the basilica, its reported miracles and its reconstruction from fire in 1922. This evening is yours to enjoy at leisure, allowing you to sample one of Québec’s many restaurants and discover the unique culinary delights of French Canada. B
 Day 8. VIA Rail to Montréal. Travel in style through the province of Québec aboard VIA Rail. The line follows the St Lawrence River to Montréal. Officially a bilingual city, Montréal is the second largest French-speaking city in the world. Enjoy a sightseeing tour including Nôtre Dame Cathedral, the cobbled streets of Old Montréal and a visit to Mt Royal for panoramic views. Two Night Stay: Montréal, Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel. B
Day 9. Freedom of Choice Touring, Montréal at Leisure. Join your selected touring activity. Later discover Montréal on your own. This evening enjoy a special farewell dinner with your Tour Director and travelling companions. BD
Day 10. Join New England Cruise. Board your deluxe Holland America Line cruise ship the ms Maasdam for your 7 night cruise to Boston. Settle into your luxurious stateroom as we set sail. BD
Day 11. Cruise St Lawrence River to Québec. Arrive in Quebéc City and take the day at leisure to explore on your own or join an optional tour to further discover its history. BLD
Day 12. Saguenay Fjord. This morning we cruise into the 200 mile natural canal of Saguenay Fjord, home to white beluga whales, minke whales and harbour seals. BLD
Day 13. Prince Edward Island. Visit delightful Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island. The birthplace of modern Canada, Charlottetown has a rich and varied maritime history. Today, enjoy time at leisure to explore this historic town. Prince Edward Island is also home to the fictional character, Anne of Green Gables, immortalized by a series of novels by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Join an optional excursion to see the Anne of Green Gables Homestead (own expense). BLD
Day 14. Sydney, Nova Scotia. Spend the day in Sydney on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. BLD
Day 15. Halifax. Our port of call is Halifax, Nova Scotia’s bustling capital. With its rich maritime heritage, Halifax was an important naval base in the American Revolution, the War of 1812, and both World Wars. Today is free for you to explore. Perhaps see scenic Peggy’s Cove on an optional excursion (Own expense). BLD
Day 16. Bar Harbor, Maine. Cross into the United States and arrive in Bar Harbor. BLD
Day 17. Boston, Fly Home. Sail into Boston this morning. After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home. B

Day 4. New York, Fly home. Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and time at leisure this morning before transferring to the airport for your flight home. B
