Day 1. Arrive Toronto. Upon arrival in Toronto, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. You have the eve ning free so either take time out to relax or explore. Three Night Stay: Toronto, Courtyard Marriott.
Day 2. Toronto Sightseeing. Join your Tour Director and fellow travelling companions for a breakfast Welcome Reception. Then join a sightseeing tour of Toronto’s most famous highlights. The afternoon you can discover Toronto on your own. B
Day 3. Niagara Falls. Today we journey to Niagara Falls. Straddling America and Canada, Niagara Falls is actually a series of three separate waterfalls – the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls and the smaller Bridal Veil Falls. Enjoy the thrilling Maid of the Mist cruise and journey into the heart of Horseshoe Falls (raincoats provided). Visit the picturesque village of Niagara on the Lake. BD
Day 4. 1,000 Islands, Ottawa. Today we travel to the 1,000 Islands of the St Lawrence Seaway for a scenic cruise. We continue to Canada’s vibrant capital, Ottawa. Two Night Stay: Ottawa, Lord Elgin Hotel. BD
Day 5. Ottawa Sightseeing. Today we tour Ottawa, including Parliament Hill, Embassy Row and historic Rideau Canal. The remainder of the day is free to explore. Perhaps visit the bustling ByWard Market. This evening discover Ottawa’s fine eateries for yourself. B
Day 6. Québec City. Today we continue north to one of North America’s most beautiful and historic cities. Québec City is rich in historical treasures and is the only walled city in North America. Enjoy time at leisure to explore, maybe stroll through its oldest neighborhoods like Petit Champlain, Place-Royale and the Old Port and explore the original cobblestone pathways. Two Night Stay: Québec City, Hotel Manoir Victoria. B
Day 7. Québec City and Sightseeing. Today we travel back in time to rural Québec. We journey to Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré to see the famous shrine. We later stop at Montgomery Falls You will be treated to a short visit on the Island of Orléans. Tonight we visit Sugar Maple Shack for a special group dinner. BD
Day 8. VIA Rail to Montréal. Travel in style through the province of Québec aboard VIA Rail. The line follows the St Lawrence River to Montréal. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Two Night Stay: Montréal, Marriott Chateau Champlain. B
Day 9. Montréal at Leisure. Enjoy a whole day to discover Mo ntréal on your own. Officially a bilingual city, Montréal is the second largest French-speaking city in the world. This evening enjoy a special farewell dinner with your Tour Director and fellow travelling companions. BD
Day 10. Montréal, White Mountains. Transfer to Montréal airport for your flight home. Alternatively, you can take an optional train journey (own expense) back to Toronto. Transfer to Toronto airport for your flight. B
Alternatively, extend your holiday in the United States with a Boston and New York extension.
Day 1. Boston. Transfer to Boston early this morning and enjoy a hop-on, hop-off Old Town Trolley tour. The rest of the day is free to explore. Stay: Boston, The Lenox Hotel. B
Day 2. Boston, New York City. Board the Amtrak Acela Express to New York with First Class seating. Two Night Stay: Sheraton New York. BL
Day 3. New York Sights. Today, jump on board Gray Line’s red double-decker bus All Loops Tour. Then enjoy a farewell dinner. BD
Day 4. New York City. After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight home. B
