Day 1. Arrive Vancouver, Victoria. On arrival at Vancouver’s airport, transfer to the ferry for a scenic Georgia Strait cruise. Travel to Victoria, the charming capital city of British Columbia. This evening join your Tour Director and fellow travellers for a Welcome Reception.Accommodation (Two Nights): Victoria, Royal Scot Suite Hotel.

Day 2. Victoria Sightseeing. This morning visit the world-famous Butchart Gardens where you have time to explore the floral displays that have been delighting visitors for over 100 years. The rest of the day is at leisure on Vancouver Island. BD

Day 3. Victoria, Vancouver. This morning board the ferry and return to the mainland. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Vancouver including the Waterfront, Gastown and Stanley Park. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.Accommodation:Vancouver, Blue Horizon Hotel. B

Day 4. Rocky Mountaineer, Kamloops. Board the Rocky Mountaineer and relax in your RedLeaf coach or perhaps upgrade to GoldLeaf Service. See spectacular scenery as you pass Fraser Valley and the Coast Mountains then enter the Fraser Canyon. See Hell’s Gate and follow the Thompson River to historic Kamloops. Tonight perhaps take in the ‘Rhythms on the Rails’ dinner show (own expense). Accommodation: Kamloops, hotel assigned by Rocky Mountaineer Vacations. BL

Day 5. Rocky Mountaineer, Jasper. Rejoining the Rocky Mountaineer, follow the Thompson River. View Pyramid Falls and Alberta Icefields before passing Mt Robson, arriving into Jasper National Park in the afternoon. Accommodation: Jasper Tonquin Inn. BLD

Day 6. Icefields Parkway, Athabasca Glacier, Banff.  Journey along the Icefields Parkway, stopping at Athabasca Glacier for an Ice Explorer ride. Accommodation (Two Nights): Banff Park Lodge. BD

Day 7. Banff Sightseeing. Today, ride the famous Banff Gondola up Sulphur Mountain for incredible views. The rest of the day is at leisure. Perhaps visit the famous The Fairmont Banff Springs, an historical site and Rockies landmark, or take a wilderness experience tour to see and learn more about the local fauna and flora (own expense). B

Day 8. Banff, Lake Louise. Enjoy the morning at leisure to further explore Banff before travelling to Lake Louise. This lake region is known as the Jewel of the Rockies. Accommodation: The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. BD

Day 9. Yoho National Park, Sun Peaks. Travel through Yoho National Park over the Kicking Horse Pass to Glacier and Mt Revelstoke national parks. In the afternoon arrive in the village of Sun Peaks.  Accommodation: Sun Peaks, Hearthstone Lodge. BD

Day 10. Whistler. Travel through the rugged Cariboo region to Whistler. This evening head to one of the many vibrant restaurants or bars in Whistler, which is hosting the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Accommodation: Whistler, Crystal Lodge. B

Day 11. Vancouver. Travel the Sea to Sky Highway, one of the most spectacular drives in the world, to Vancouver. Accommodation: Vancouver, Blue Horizon Hotel. B

Day 12. Vancouver, Holland America Line Cruise. Board your cruise ship and settle into your stateroom as you sail north. Accommodation (Seven Nights): ms Volendam.BD

Day 13. Inside Passage. Enjoy a day at sea as your ship wends its way past rocky headlands, over the still blue waters of the Inside Passage. Explore your cruise ship. BLD

Day 14. Juneau. Stop in Juneau today, the capital of Alaska since 1906. This afternoon perhaps experience a dog sled ride over a glacier, sample salmon baked over a fire or pan for gold (own expense). BLD

Day 15. Skagway. At the northernmost point of the Inside Passage, Skagway’s history as a frontier town for the gold rush is still evident. Enjoy free time and perhaps learn about gold prospecting (own expense). BLD

Day 16. GlacierBay. Wake up to the breathtaking sight of Glacier Bay National Park with its rivers of ice. Rangers come on board to explain the geology and wildlife. BLD

Day 17. Ketchikan. Enjoy time at leisure in Ketchikan, the salmon capital of the world. Perhaps join a walking tour of the town including a visit to the busy fishing harbour and the historical red light district. Or you can immerse yourself in the Tlingit Indian culture at Saxman Native Village (own expense). BLD

Day 18. Inside Passage. Heading south through the Inside Passage, watch the majestic landscape slip by. BLD

Day 19. Vancouver, Flight to Toronto. Disembark in Vancouver and transfer to your flight to Toronto (flight not included in land only price). Settle in to your Toronto hotel with a free evening. Accommodation (Two Nights): Toronto, Delta Chelsea.B

Day 20. Niagara Falls. This morning take a sightseeing tour of Toronto. Then travel around Lake Ontario, heading for one of the world’s natural wonders, Niagara Falls. Here take the Maid of the Mist cruise, a definite highlight. Tonight enjoy dinner at the hotel. BD

Day 21. 1000 Islands, Ottawa. Travel to the 1000 Islands of the St Lawrence Seaway. Continue to Canada’s capital, Ottawa. Accommodation (Two Nights): Ottawa, Lord Elgin Hotel. B

Day 22. Ottawa Sightseeing. After breakfast embark on a tour of the city, including many of the famous landmarks such as Parliament Hill, Embassy Row and the Rideau Canal. The remainder of the day is free. B

Day 23. Québec City. Today continue travelling north to one of North America’s most beautiful and historic destinations, Québec City. Accommodation (Two Nights): Québec City, Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. B

Day 24. Québec City Sightseeing. Journey to Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré to see the shrine. Tonight you’ll visit a traditional Sugar Maple Shack for a special group dinner. B

Day 25. VIARail to Montréal. This morning board VIA Rail’s service to Montréal. The afternoon is at leisure to discover the quaint cobblestone streets of this charming city.
Accommodation (Two Nights): Montréal, Marriott Chateau Champlain. B

Day 26. Montréal at Leisure. Enjoy a whole day discovering Montréal on your own. Maybe visit the old town of Montréal. This evening enjoy a special Farewell Dinner.BD

Day 27. Depart Montréal. Your tour finishes after breakfast with a transfer to Montréal airport. Or take a train journey (own expense) back to Toronto, arriving this afternoon. B
