Enjoy this journey of a lifetime, taking in Vancouver Island, world-famous alpine regions including Whistler, the Rocky Mountains, Lake Louise and Alaska’s incredible Inside Passage. You’ll spend a total of six nights in the Rockies and travel by coach, ferry, train and premium cruise ship as you make your way across diverse landscapes. Picturesque VANCOUVER ISLAND
Day 1. Victoria. Arrive at Vancouver Airport and be met and transferred to Victoria. Join an informal Welcome Reception this evening.
Two Night Stay: Victoria, Delta Ocean Pointe.

Day 2. Victoria, Butchart Gardens, Freedom of Choice Touring. Visit Butchart Gardens for breakfast. Then choose an activity. B

Day 3. Georgia Strait, Whistler. Journey to Whistler along the Sea to Sky Highway, one of the world’s most spectacular drives.
Stay: Whistler, Westin Resort & Spa. BD

Day 4. Kelowna. Travel through the Cariboo region before arriving in Kelowna, a renowned winery area in the Okanagan region. Stay: Kelowna, Delta Grand Okanagan Resort. BD

Day 5. Banff, Dine Around Dinner. Travel through Mt Revelstoke, Glacier and Yoho national parks, and on to Banff.  Two Night Stay: The Fairmont Banff Springs, the Castle in the Rockies.  BD

Day 6. Banff Sights, Freedom of Choice Touring. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Banff then join your selected touring activity. Choose from a Banff experience, nature hike, helicopter ride over the Rockies, round of golf at The Fairmont Banff Springs, Bow River float trip or a cruise down Lake Minnewanka. B

GLACIERS, MOUNTAINS AND SNOWFIELDS

Day 7. Moraine Lake, Lake Louise, Dine Around Dinner. Take a ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain on the Banff Gondola, then visit Moraine Lake, one of the most spectacular lakes in the Rockies. Tonight, choose to dine at one of the chateau’s restaurants.  Two Night Stay: The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, in Banff National Park. BD

Day 8. Lake Louise. Join a Mountain Heritage Guide for a walk alongside majestic Lake Louise. The afternoon is at your leisure. B

Day 9. Icefields Parkway, Athabasca Glacier, Jasper, Dine Around Dinner. Travel the Icefields Parkway to Athabasca Glacier for an Ice Explorer ride. Continue to Jasper. Two Night Stay: The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, a grand Canadian Lodge. BD

Day 10. Jasper, Freedom of Choice Touring. Today, enjoy your selected touring experience – ride the Jasper Tramway, take an interpretive nature hike, go on a Maligne Valley Wildlife Safari or raft down Athabasca River. B

ROCKY MOUNTAINEER RAIL JOURNEY
Day 11. Rocky Mountaineer Rail, Mt Robson. Board the Rocky Mountaineer train. In GoldLeaf Service, you can sit back and relax. Perhaps enjoy a dinner show tonight, at additional cost.  Stay: Kamloops, hotel assigned by Rocky Mountaineer. Kamloops has limited accommodation (two or three-star hotels). BL

Day 12. Kamloops, Vancouver. Pass Hell’s Gate and Fraser Canyon en route to Vancouver. Two Night Stay: Vancouver, The Fairmont Waterfront with spectacular views. BL

Day 13. Vancouver Sights. Tour Vancouver, including a stroll among the treetops along the Capilano Suspension Bridge. The afternoon is then at leisure. Tonight enjoy a special Farewell Dinner with your fellow travellers.  B

Alaskan INSIDE PASSAGE CRUISE
Day 14. Holland America Line Cruise. After breakfast, board the ship for your Alaskan cruise.  14 Day guests (UT14JWI) depart tour after breakfast with a transfer to the airport. Seven Night Cruise: Holland America Line’sms Zuiderdam or ms Volendam in a luxurious Verandah Stateroom. BD

Day 15. Cruise the Inside Passage. Enjoy a day at sea, gliding over the Inside Passage. BLD

Day 16. Juneau. This afternoon, arrive in Juneau, Alaska’s capital. Located at the base of grand mountain peaks, explore the lush terrain and still prominent native Alaskan influence.  BLD

Day 17. Skagway. Journey to Skagway, a gateway for the gold rush. Spend time exploring a town where frontier history still lives on. BLD

Day 18. Glacier Bay. Wake to the breathtaking sight of Glacier Bay National Park. Rangers will explain the geological wonders and point out diverse wildlife and marine mammals.  BLD

Day 19. Ketchikan. Tour Ketchikan’s sights this afternoon including museums, Creek Street and native cultural attractions. You may also wish to sample some of the local delicacy, salmon. BLD

Day 20. The Inside Passage. Continue south through the scenic Inside Passage. BLD

Day 21. Vancouver. Arrive back in Vancouver and transfer to the airport for your flight home. B
