Banff

Edmonton

Seasoned Solutions. Enjoy an exclusive cooking class in the loft home of Gall Hall - one of Canada's leading culinarians and food activists.  Experience fresh cooking in a hands-on, full participation class under the guidance of a seasoned professional.  This is not a watch-to-learn experience.  You'll actually be cooking with expert instruction, using the freshest ingredients available.  You'll prepare a wonderful meal and then sit down to enjoy the food, paired with wine in the warm surroundings of a loft in the historic warehouse district of Edmonton.  Class sizes are limited to eight.  Details of classes can be provided by Just America upon request. Pre-booking essential.  Prices £132 per person (subject to confirmation).

Fort Edmonton Park.  Join the costumed staff and live life as it was at the 1846 fort and Cree encampment, and on the streets of 1885, 1905 and the 1920's.  There are activities for all ages including: ride the steam train and streetcar, learn homestead skills, ride a pony, the stagecoach or a horse-drawn wagon, take a spin on the carousel or Ferris wheel at the 1920's midway.  Open daily May-September. Jasper

Tour to Maligne Lake with Cruise or Walk.  Embark on a tour of one of the most spectacular areas of a Jasper National Park.  The first stop is at Maligne Canyon where 10,000 years of erosion have created a 49-meter deep gorge.  Set off on a short walk to marvel at the Maligne River as it thunders through the canyon in a series of waterfalls.  From the canyon continue to the "mysteriously" disappearing Medicine Lake and then to Maligne Lake for a 90-minute interpretative boat cruise bound for the world-renowned - Spirit Island; bring your camera as this truly is a picture postcard setting.  After the boat cruise, relax and soak up the sights or enjoy a tasty treat at the Lake Chalet.  Alternatively, those who would prefer to go for a walk rather than take the cruise can enjoy a guided 75-minute walk along the shoreline trail of Maligne Lake.  Duration: approx.5 hours.  Daily departures between 01 June-05 October.  Prices £69 per adult (inc. cruise) / £39 per child (2-12 years) inc. cruise.  Or £40 per adult (without cruise) / £25 per child (2-12 years) withouth cruise.

Miette Hot Springs & Wildlife Tour.  Take a guided wildlife viewing and historical Hot Springs tour in Jasper National Park.  Set out for a discovery of the park's various wildlife and railroad history.  Then make your way to the Miette Hot Springs and enjoy a rejuvenating soak in the Hot Springs pool (admission fee is included).  This tour includes transportation from Jasper.  Duration: approx. 4 hours.  Operates daily between 01 May and 15 October.  Prices £49 per adult / £29 per child (2-12 years).
