Excess Waiver Protection. Without Excess Waiver Protection you pay the 1st £75 of the claim. By adding Excess Waiver Protection you eliminate the excess so that in the event of a claim nothing is deducted.
Senior Citizens aged 65-69 years the single trip and annual insurance premium is doubled. The excess for medical cancellation and curtailment claims is £100.
Senior Citizens over 69 years the single trip insurance premium is tripled. Annual Multi-Trip Insurance is not available to anyone over 69 years.
Winter Sports: Double the premium. Annual Multi-Trip insurance includes up to 17 days winter sports per year.
Travelling on business: There is a supplement of £25 to add to the Annual Multi-Trip insurance premium if you require cover whilst travelling on business.
All age loadings apply to age at date of issue (not date of travel).

EXISTING HEALTH CONDITIONS You must keep to the following conditions to have the full protection of your policy. If you do not the policy may be cancelled or your claim refused, or the amount of any payment claimed may be reduced. A. Pre-existing medical conditions You will not be covered under the following sections in the circumstances shown below. section 5 - Medical and other expenses (including Hospital Benefit), section 1 - Loss of deposit or cancellation, section 2 - Curtailment, section 6 - Personal Accident or section 10 - Personal Liability. Cover will not be provided if you have: * Ever had any respiratory condition (relating to the lungs or breathing), heart condition, stroke or cancer, for which you have ever received treatment (treatment includes surgery, tests, or investigations by a doctor, consultant or specialist, and prescribed drugs or medication): or * had any medical condition within the last 12 months for which you have received surgery, in-patient treatment or investigations in a hospital or clinic, or for which you are taking prescribed medication. However, you can call the medical helpline on 0845 345 8107 or visit www.screeningmadesimple.com/HEX06 and they may agree to provide cover, but the medical staff will confirm this in writing. B. Waiting Lists and tests. If you are on a waiting list for, or know that you need, surgery, in-patient treatment or tests at a hospital, clinic or nursing home, cover will not be provided under the following sections of the policy for claims arising from that need. Section 5 - Medical and other expenses (including Hospital Benefit), section 1 - Loss of Deposit or Cancellation, section 2 - Curtailment, section 6 - Personal Accident, or section 10 - Personal Liability. If your treatment is completed, or if you receive the results of tests after your insurance has been issued - but before your trip starts, you should call the medical helpline. C. Important Conditions This insurance will not cover the following circumstances. At the time of taking the policy out if you: 1. Have a terminal illness; 2. Have not been permanently living in the UK for at least the last 12 months. 3. Are 70 or over and buying a Worldwide Multi-Trip policy. At any time if you: 1. are travelling to get medical treatment abroad; 2. are expecting to give birth before you arrive home or within eight weeks of arriving home; 3. are not registered with a UK doctor; or 4. are taking a one-way trip.
Close relatives, Business Partners or anyone else who is not travelling but whose health may affect the trip. If at the time of taking out the insurance (or booking the trip if later) they had a medical condition for which they: were receiving treatment in hospital; were waiting for a hospital consultation or treatment; or had been given a terminal prognosis or been told that their condition is likely to get worse in the next 12 months; we will not pay for any claim which has anything to do with the medical condition of that relative or business partner.
If you need to call the screening line, do so as soon as possible. You have 14 days to return this policy if it's not suitable.
