The Club lies on the small island of Green Turtle Cay in the reef sheltered waters of the Abacos where pirates plied their trade in the early 1600's. Today, the historic sites remain, but so do the miles of uninhabited sun drenched beaches laced with coconut palms. The picturesque and historic town of New Plymouth is four miles from the Club and can be reached by bike, golf cart or ferry.

You can enjoy the mornings lounging by the Club's freshwater pool that sits atop the bluffs overlooking the entire harbour. Or, water taxi across The Sea of Abaco in the afternoon for a round of golf on an 18-hole course designed by Dick Wilson. But be prepared to indulge when evening approaches. You'll be graciously served while feasting on delicacies from throughout the world in the candlelit dining room. From mouth-watering native lobster to classic prime rib, veal or roast duckling, these are but a few of the gourmet delights.

Yachtsmen worldwide travel yearly to this uniquely tropical setting. Sailing in calm crystal clear waters, diving among the live coral reefs or fishing the most productive waters in the Caribbean, provide some of life's most pleasant memories. The Club's marina complex provides full service and can accommodate yachts of up to 150 feet. Deep Sea fishing charters, diving an snorkelling can be arranged.

The 30 guest rooms are handsomely appointed with Queen Anne style furniture, hardwood floors, Oriental rugs and tasteful coral or indigo-and-white print spreads. Rooms are equipped with television, hair dryer, coffee maker, tropical paddle fans and air conditioning. Each room has a private patio with a view of the harbour.

A souvenir shop, pub -with outdoor seating and dining, tennis, bike, boat and golf cart rentals, and two fine sandy beaches (approx. 10 mins walk from the Club) complete the Club's amenities.

To get to the Green Turtle Club, guests should fly from Nassau to Treasure Cay, taxi to the ferry (approx.$3.00 per person each way) and ferry to the Club's marina (cost not included in Just America's prices).
