Catch an early afternoon ferry from Caribou, Nova Scotia, to Wood Islands, Prince Edward Island. Cross the Northumberland Strait, which separates Nova Scotia and New Brunswick from Prince Edward Island; these are some of the warmest waters of the North Atlantic, one of many reasons Prince Edward Island is a favorite summer resort for Eastern Canadians.
