The Keauhou Beach Resort is a pleasant, informal oceanfront hotel located 3 miles from Kailua-Kona and set amidst 10 acres of tide pools and lush tropical gardens, with some of the best beach and ocean views to be found.

Each of the 309 rooms, all of which have balcony or lanai, have been comfortably furnished and include one kingsize or two double beds, private bath, shower and wc, air conditioning, fridge, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, in-room safe (nominal fee), telephone, radio and colour TV with in-room pay movies.

The hotel has its own restaurant, the Kalanikai Beach & Grill, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Kanaaia Terrace also offers light snacks and the relaxing Veranda Lounge serves appetisers as well as a whole range of exotic cocktails and refreshments.

Onsite recreation facilities include a swimming pool with wading pool for the children, fitness center, the Kalona Salon and Health Spa, six tennis courts and a gift and sundry store. Beach-goers will appreciate the snorkelling and surfing at Kahaluu Bay public beach park, situated adjacent to the property. For those wishing to venture farther afield, a shuttle service is available to Keauhou Shopping Village, with over 40 shops. A shuttle also runs to the Kona Country Club, just over one mile away, where 36 holes of sophisticated golf may prove too much of a temptation.
