The impressive Sheraton Kauai is in an idyllic setting surrounded by 20 acres of lush tropical gardens with tranquil waterways beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Poipu Beach, just 2 miles from the charming town of Koloa.

Each of the 414 rooms has one kingsize or two double beds, private bath, shower and wc, air conditioning, fridge, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, complimentary in-room safe, telephone with voice-mail, radio and colour TV with Sony PlayStation connectivity.All rooms also have a balcony, providing wonderful views out over the resort and its surrounding scenery.

Sheraton hotels have built a reputation for offering dining of the highest standards and the Kauai property is no exception. ‘Shell’s’ steak and seafood restaurant, with an exquisite outdoor setting, offers a choice of mouthwatering meats and seafood at dinner time as well as playing host to breakfast each day, where a la carte or buffet is available and children under 12 years of age eat free. ‘Amore Ristorante Italiano’ dinner restaurant will need no explanation as to its theme and the delicious menu of Italian cuisine available each evening can be accompanied by one of the many fines on offer.

For those wishing to sample culinary delights from the Far East, ‘Naniwa’ is the Sheraton’s Japanese dinner restaurant, where tempura, sahimi and miso soup are just a few of the delicacies from which to select. With each of these restaurants enjoying popularity with guests, dinner reservations are strongly advised. Lighter fare can be found at ‘The Point’, an ideal spot for watching the breathtaking sunsets and offering a casual menu and live entertainment from 11am until midnight each day. If you wish to take sustainance by the pool, ‘Oasis Bar & Grill’ is the place to find a daily menu of light snacks and refreshing beverages.

There are two adult and two children’s swimming pools at the Sheraton Kauai, just a few paces from the magnificent beach. Those wishing to enjoy the ocean can indulge in any one of a number of watersports and equipment rental is available from the beach activity centre, whilst children from the ages of 5-12 years can enrol in the kid’s club and we are able to provide costs on request. Adding to the relaxing ambience of the resort are a massage and skincare centre and beauty parlour whilst in contrast, for those with an eye for the fairways, a superb 18-hole golf course is located just a few minutes drive from the hotel.
