Days 1, 2 & 3: Boston.  Famous for everything from the Red Sox and Paul Revere to Cheers and clam chowder, Boston is a popular destination for so many reasons. Part history lesson, part modern metropolis, the Hub offers attractions to suit every taste and interest.

3 nights Boston at the Nine Zero Hotel, a beautiful Boston boutique hotel that brings together everything the discerning traveller seeks - an ideal location in downtown Boston, luxurious accommodations, personalized service and thoughtful amenities. Day 4: Chatham Cape Cod, (89 mi/143 km).  Explore Boston this morning, take a “Hop on, Hop Off” trolley tour or walk the Freedom Trail, a well-preserved pedestrian path that weaves in and out of historic neighborhoods. Between landmarks, you can shop the fabulous stores on Newbury Street, or browse the antique shops and distinctive red-brick buildings of Beacon Hill. Perhaps lunch in lively Quincy Market or a delicious authentic Italian meal in the North End. Drive to charming Cape Cod with the possibility to visit Plymouth to see the Mayflower replica and Plimoth Plantation, a living history museum depicting life in a 1627 pilgrim village 4 nights Chatham (Chatham Bars Inn).

Day 5: Chatham, Cape Cod. A leisurely day to explore Cape Cod with its pretty villages and abundant attractions or enjoy the many attractions of your hotel. Chatham center, just a few minutes from the hotel, is the quintessential New England village by the sea. This is probably Cape Cod at its picturesque best with smart shops, inns, small restaurants, some typically colonial-style white churches, a fishing harbor and a lighthouse with dramatic ocean views the Cape Cod National Seashore has 40 miles of pristine sandy beach, marshes, ponds and diverse birdlife.

Day 6: Excursion to Provincetown, Cape Cod, (Whale Watch Cruise). Drive to Provincetown at the very end of Cape Cod. This colorful and fascinating little town has attracted a wide spectrum of people. Artists live side by side with traditional fisherman and during the summer Commercial Street is filled with the most cosmopolitan mix of people, exploring the art galleries, tiny seafood restaurants, shops, narrow streets and pretty gardens. A morning to explore the town and this afternoon enjoy a whale watch cruise (weather permitting), an exciting adventure to view these majestic marine mammals, guided by an expert naturalist. Humpback whales are normally seen and you’ll never forget your first sighting of a whale blowing after a deep sea dive. This evening enjoy dinner in town or perhaps try a New England Clambake Dune Tour, an exciting trip that combines the beauty of a sunset dune tour with a traditional New England Clam Bake dinner served picnic style.

Day 7: Nantucket Island Excursion.  An early start this morning for the drive to Hyannis (car parking fee) and the 09:10 am high speed ferry to pretty Nantucket Island. You have a full day to explore beautiful Nantucket.  With its cobblestone Main Street shaded by giant elm trees; its magnificent homes of merchants and ship captains it is one of the best preserved towns in New England. A fully narrated tour offers a truly interesting view of America’s most scenic little island. In just over an hour, become acquainted with the “Little Grey Lady,” famous as the world’s foremost whaling port in the 18th century. Included are The Old Mill, “Sconset” Village with its rose-covered cottages, Low Beach, Sankaty Head Lighthouse, Cranberry bogs and Nantucket moors.  Return to the mainland this afternoon for your final night at Chatham.

Day 8. Chatham to Martha's Vineyard (approx. 61 miles/98 km).  Take the short ferry ride this morning from Woods Hole to the lovely island of Martha’s Vineyard (round-trip ferry tickets for you and your car are included).

3 nights Martha’s Vineyard (Harbor View Hotel). The historic Harbor View Hotel & Resort on Martha’s Vineyard, located in the very heart of Edgartown, is the perfect Vineyard setting for a relaxing vacation. With stunning ocean views and refined Martha’s Vineyard décor the hotel is flanked by historic homes from 19th Century whaling captains and overlooks Edgartown Lighthouse, Edgartown Harbor and Chappaquiddick Island. Days 9 & 10: Martha’s Vineyard. Two days to relax on the island, a Mecca for summer visitors, that has played host to the rich and famous, including film stars and American Presidents. Tour the Vineyard to see the gingerbread cottages of Oak Bluffs and Gay Head cliffs in scenic Aquinnah.
