Days 1, 2 & 3. Boston. Three nights and two whole days to explore one of America's greatest cities. With so much history, great shopping, inspiring galleries and museums, bay and whale-watching cruises, the Aquarium and much more, you're in for a busy time! Your hotel in the centre of the city is the Nine Zero on of the best boutique hotels in Boston and ideally located as your base from which to explore the city. We recommend that you follow the Freedom Trail which starts at the Common and links all of the city's major historic landmarks.

Days 4, 5 & 6. Maine coast. (approx. 140 miles). Collect your rental car this morning from the downtown depot in the heart of Boston, and head north - making a stop at Salem to explore the famous 'witch town' and into Maine. We recommend a stop at Portland to explore Portland's Old Port. At Freeport, visit the home of LL Bean and shop for great outdoor wear. At Popham Beach visit the Maine Maritime Museum before arriving at your fabulous seaside base - the Sebasco Harbor Resort.

Days 7, 8 & 9. New Hampshire. (approx. 164 miles). Travel to New Hampshire today for a 3-day exploration of the beautiful White Mountains and Lakes Regions. En route visit North Conway's famous outlet shops. During your stay in the region you might want to ride the Conway Scenic Railroad or Mount Washington Cog Railway, cruise on Lake Winnepesaukee and picnic along the Kankanagus Highway.
3 nights at the Manon On Golden Pond in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Days 10, 11, 12 & 13. The Berkshires (approx. 204 miles). Today, your travels take you through Vermont and into western Massachusetts to the lovely Berkshire Hills for your final four nights. There is a wealth of cultural and sightseeing opportunities in this area. Visit the Clark Art Institute, Tanglewood, summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Hancock Shaker Village, the Norman Rockwell Museum and the homes of Hermen Melville, Edith Wharton and Daniel Chester French.
3nights at the Devonfield Inn at Lee. 
Nestled in the beautiful hills of the Berkshires in the charming town of Lee, Massachusetts, Devonfield is an exquisite counrty inn that's airy and comfortable, the hospitality warm and welcoming and the food delicious! Devonfield is a gracious English-style country house with was originally built in the 1800's. Set on 32 acres, it overlooks pastoral meadows shaded by graceful birch trees, with the rolling tapestry of the Berkshire Hills beyond. In the main house, public rooms include a spacious living room complete with grand piano, library, stereo and fireplace, as well as a cozy television room and a formal dining room and porch. Of course there's also a guest pantry that's always available for guest use and is fully stocked with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, popcorn and fresh baked cookies. Day 14. Head for Boston. (approx 140 miles). Take a leisurely drive back to Boston today. If you don't mind a slightly longer drive, you could make an early start and head for Cape Cod and perhaps visit the Cape's oldest town - Sandwich. Then head for Boston via the Plimoth Plantation a living museum depicting life in 1627. Later return to Boston, return your rental car at the airport and check-in for your return flight.
