Vancouver - one of the world's most beautiful cities, is the starting point for our Canadian Rockies tour. This 15 day/14 night self-drive tour takes in the best of the Canadian Rockies, Jasper, Lake Louise and Banff including the Jasper and Banff National Parks. Through the Yoho and Glacier National Parks to Revelstoke and on to Victoria on Vancouver Island.  The breathtaking scenery, lovely cities and national parks combine into a stunning tour which operates daily between 15 May to 30 September.

Day 1. Arrive Vancouver. After arriving in Vancouver today make your own way to your city centre hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day exploring the city. Overnight: Century Plaza Hotel (Standard) or Pan Pacific Hotel (Superior).

Day 2. At leisure in Vancouver. You have a full day to relax and enjoy the attractions of the city. Spend the morning exploring Gastown, Chinatown, take the cable car to the top of Grouse Mountain and admire the views over the city. In the afternoon, walk or rent a bike and tour Stanley Park or relax on the one of the many beaches. Overnight: Century Plaza Hotel (Standard) or Pan Pacific Hotel (Superior).

Day 3. Vancouver to Kamloops (210 miles). Collect your rental car this morning from the downtown Vancouver depot and head east from Vancouver through the coastal mountains, past waterfalls, lakes and forests to Kamloops almost half way to Jasper. Overnight: Thompson Hotel - (Standard and Superior).

Day 4. Kamloops to Jasper (277 miles). The journey today takes you past Mount Robson - the highest point in the Canadian Rockies - to Jasper in the heart of the Jasper National Park. two full days exploring the town of Jasper and the surrounding national park. Overnight: Lobstick Lodge (Standard) or Chateau Jasper (Superior)

Days 5 & 6. At leisure in Jasper. Two full days exploring the town of Jasper and the surrounding national park. A cruise on Maligne Lake, a snowcoach tour on the Columbia Icefield, a ride on the Jasper Tramway, horse riding, cycling and relaxing on the town's beaches these and other activities will keep you busy. Overnight: Lobstick Lodge (Standard) or Chateau Jasper (Superior)

Day 7. (Jasper to Banff 160 miles).  The drive between Jasper and Banff is described as the most scenic highway in North America. Take your time, take plenty of film and stop often at the scenic viewpoints. Peyto Lake, Bow Lake, Lake Louise and other beautiful locations punctuate your leisurely drive today. Overnight: Douglas Fir Resort (Standard) or Delta Banff (Superior)

Days 8 & 9. At leisure in Banff.  Enjoy two full days exploring the town and surrounding national park. The famous hot springs, the gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain, rafting, hiking, canoeing and much more await you in Banff and its national park. Overnight: Douglas Fir Resort (Standard) or Delta Banff (Superior)

Day 10. Banff to Revelstoke (175 miles).  Crossing back over the Continental Divide, your tour takes you through the Yoho and Glacier National Parks to Revelstoke. Overnight: Three Valley Lake Chateau (Standard) or Best Western Glacier Park Lodge at Rogers Pass (Superior)

Day 11. Revelstoke to Harrison Hot Springs (340 miles).  Continue west through the towns of Kelowna and Penticton to Harrison Hot Springs. Overnight: Executive Hotel (Standard) or Harrison Hot Springs Hotel (Superior)

Day 12. Harrison Hot Springs to Victoria (50 miles plus ferry).  A short journey to the ferry port this morning allows you to catch an early ferry to Victoria on Vancouver Island. Enjoy two nights in Victoria exploring the Capital of British Columbia. Overnight: Coast Harbourside (Standard) or Delta Ocean Pointe Resort (Superior)

Day 13. At leisure in Victoria. The famous Butchart Gardens, the museums and shops of Victoria will make for a full day of sightseeing. Overnight: Coast Harbourside (Standard) or Delta Ocean Point Resort (Superior)

Day 14. Victoria to Vancouver (by ferry). Return to Vancouver for a final night before saying farewell to this beautiful city. Overnight: Century Plaza Hotel (Standard) or Pan Pacific Hotel (Superior)
