Every year we receive lots of nice letters and feedback from our clients - we thought you might like to read a small sample.
(Oct 9th 2012) Dear Just America,
Wonderful holiday, thank you!
Old Fort Inn was lovely. Couldn't do enough for us. Great quiet room
in the Carriage House in the woods. Lovely breakfast. Lovely furniture
throughout the inn and large oversize art books, which was great for
the designer in me. Sat on a beach with white sand up the coast. Only
saw 4 other people the whole morning! Ate at Pier 77 restaurant, 77
Pier Road Cape Porpoise Harbor great lobster and ravioli
Bayview Hotel, Bar Harbor, again couldn't help enough. Ate at The Side
Street Cafe Great blueberry pie and more lobster with 'mac and cheese'!
Sunset photography at the top of Cadillac Mountain. Explored lots of
bays, coves and Bass Harbor Lighthouse. Abels lobster pound at the
bottom of the island was great. Lobster from the sea straight to your
table. Cathy got bored of lobster!!!
Christmas Farm Inn breakfast and restaurant servers very welcoming and
stopped to chat about life over in UK etc. Kancamagus Highway was
breathtaking with the fall colour. as if the trees had been dipped in
marmalade and strawberry jam
Boston as relaxed as the last visit. Sat on the grass in the parks and
watched the world go by after following the red brick trail. Ate at a
lovely Italian restaurant in Hanover Street in the Italian district
then went up the road to Mike's Pastry, North End for a recommended
brandy snap filled with cream and chocolate. Back on that cross trainer!
Look forward to the next time...
Regards
Paul
Dear Just America
We simply can’t thank you enough for the most wonderful and memorable holiday we have just had this summer in America. Our decision to visit Las Vegas and drive to the Grand Canyon, as well as Yosemite National Park, San Francisco and then several beautiful towns along the Pacific Coast Highway and finishing up in LA, was a big ask in 17 days! However, with your knowledge of the country and excellent recommendations, you prepared for us a fabulous itinerary that meant we took in a beautiful drive down to Scottsdale in Arizona as a bonus. And, oh my goodness, our stay at the Camelback Inn in Scottsdale will stay with us forever – I simply could not recommend this hotel highly enough for its stunning location, first class service and absolutely excellent cuisine. We stayed in 9 hotels in 17 nights and I have to say that the combination of both large and small hotels was just perfect and in all of them, the rooms were large, clean and quiet with amazingly comfortable beds and all the staff were extremely helpful. Every single arrangement in our very busy itinerary went like clockwork – all the hotel vouchers were provided, our internal flight was extremely efficient, and both hire car arrangements were simple. I was amazed by how quickly and efficiently all our arrangements were processed, which meant we wasted no time in seeing as much as we could of each place. We absolutely loved each location for different reasons and would return to every one of them in a flash, spending longer this time. California and Nevada really are places of superlatives and we were continually amazed by the sheer beauty and scale of the scenery, as well as the friendliness of the people. Without waxing lyrical for too much longer, I would just like to say, that as a customer who is normally quite difficult to please, I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the holiday and its organisation and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Just America again. ‘ With best wishes Rebecca (Sept 2012) Hi Mike
Just to let you know how much we enjoyed our Extended trails west trip that you arranged for us.
Everything went according to plan. The itinerary that you advised was perfect and although we traveled 3000 miles it was easy driving. On your advice we held out against the hard sell at Alamo and drove away in a brand new Chrysler 2.4 that was three up from the class we had booked at no extra cost.
All the hotels/motels were good, some better than others especially the Ramada ones. The one at Estes gave us full complementary breakfast.
In Cody we went to the Rodeo and had breakfast with' Buffalo Bill' outside the Cody museum, one of the best museums we have ever visited.
At Yellowstone we got up one morning at 5.00am ,drove to the Lamar valley and were rewarded by seeing 4 grey and 2 black wolves feeding off a bison kill and back in time for an excellent breakfast.
In Grand Teton we saw black bear and moose and plenty of elk.
One place you might wish to add to your suggested places to visit for anyone staying over in Denver is the town of Golden about 30 miles away in the foothills of the Rockies.A lovely western town, originally gold mining but now home to the Coors Brewery where you can spend a few hours on a free tour that includes a generous tasting session!
So all in all an wonderful trip and we have told many people, both in the USA and at home about your Company, well deserved compliments.
Regards
Dave& Ellen (Sept 2012)
We have just returned from our Grand Circle tour of national parks in America which we booked through your company. We had a wonderful time and the accommodation could not have been better. The information you provided was useful and reliable. We enjoyed all the tours you booked for us and everything ran like clockwork. I would not hesitate to recommend your company. Many thanks for organising a wonderful holiday for us. J & D (Sept 2012) (July 2012) We have now returned from the above trip, and I wanted to just drop you a note of thanks for making all the arrangements.
Everything went extremely smoothly, the Alamo rental car turned out to be a brand-new Ford Kuga with only delivery mileage on the clock, and all the hotels were very good, with the Stonebridge, Snowmass, the Peaks at Telluride, and the Cheyenne at Colorado Springs being especially good. The Cheyenne were coping very well bearing in mind they were simultaneously offering accommodation to many of those unfortunately displaced by the wildfire.
But the best hotel was quite possibly the Strater at Durango, which is an experience not to be missed as it really does make one feel a part of the 'wild west'.
We have visited the USA and Canada several times previously, and have always previously made independent travel arrangements. But after sampling the ease of having all the arrangements made by your company for what was, in fact, very little extra cost, I would not hesitate to use your company again, and of recommending others to do the same.
If you would like more detailed feedback on the hotels, itinerary, etc please let me know and I would be delighted to help.
It has been a pleasure to deal with your company throughout the process, and many thanks, once again,
With kind regards,
Tony and Anne
(Nov 2011)
Once again thank you so very much for your organisation of our wonderful
trip to Washington - New Orleans. The memories of this will last
forever, never have we seen anything so vibrant and spectacular, the
locals said we had hit the fall "spot on". Accommodation was brilliant
as was last year with the exception of the Ramada at Roanoke, it left
very much to be desired and avoid at all costs if possible, other than
that everything was just brilliant.
Our thanks to you again Mike and will look forward to arranging further
adventures with you.
All good wishes to you and your team
Margaret and Dave
(30Aug2011) Dear Rosy We have just returned from our Pacific Coast Highway holiday that you arranged for us and just wanted you to know that we had a fantastic time! Your bookings and schedules were spot on!
Having been presented with our itinerary shortly before our departure, we knew exactly where we should be. Our booklet cleverly contained all of the hotel vouchers that we needed, hence no need for lengthy form filling when we arrived. We were able to do all of the things we intended to do whilst we were there ( but still left things for our next trip!) safe in the knowledge hotel bookings were firmly secured. Our hire car was ready and waiting for us when we needed it. No lengthy forms and paperwork, you had sorted all of that out for us.
You made our trip easy! We were able to enjoy stunning scenery whilst taking in some of the Californian city life too. Our hassle free drive of the Pacific coast will remain in our photo album as well as in our hearts for many years to come!
Thank you so very much to you and al of your Just America team
Very kind regards
(15 Sep2011) Dear Mike, this is just a quick note to say that we are safely back and that in spite of the hurricane we had a fantastic holiday. Would you please convey our thanks and gratitude to the organizers in America, the whole tour and the presentation of it was fabulous, the hotels used were great, and where the rooms were smaller and not quite so luxurious (Ottawa and New York) the location made up for it. We had a bit of a scare in Lancaster, where the river was about to flood and we just managed to get out (we heard that in Harrisburg they evacuated 150 thousand people soon after we left) but somehow we managed to beat the bad weather and by the time we got to Washington the sun came out. But we never saw any of the Amish! Apart from that it was fantastic. We shall travel with you third time if we find the right route! Thanks again!
(27 Sep2011) Mike & all @ Just America
just to say big thanks for our recent package to East coast USA by Amtrak, despite bits of bad weather all went well & thanks for your organizing.
The bus tours you included were useful in the main though organization & running schedule on Washington one very poor in the city.(& info in NY was at best sketchy)
A tip for your future clients in Philly where we had no bus tours included...we found Philly trolley at 2 $ / trip or 5$ all day hop on hop off useful & good value.
Philly was a big surprise lovely city & info in city good & organised well for tourists.
Would highly recommend both Kimpton Hotels we stayed @ In Boston & DC
Once again thankyou.
Hi Mike
Just got back from our trip. Thought I'd let you know how we got on. Everything worked fine - absolutely no hiccups! (First time I've travelled with no hold-ups, glitches whatsover!). The bit of the itinerary you sorted was excellent. Flights all on time (Continental a bit like a cattle truck, but that's economy for you these days). Denver hotel was v good. Transers to Cruise America depot worked like clockwork. RV was very good (if very thirsty on fuel!) The itinerary I planned with your help worked very well. Having the RV gave flexibility and saved on food as we self catered everthing. We also had a very good 9 days at the end split between Manhattan and Virginia. So, thanks for your advice. If you want more detailed feedback on our itinerary, RV experience etc. for future reference I'd be glad to provide it. Tim (17 Aug 2011) Dear Mike, You may remember you organised a "tailor made self drive tour" of Southwest USA for myself my wife and my brother and sister-in-law, 23 September 2010. I am writing on behalf of us all to say it was one of the greatest and best organised holidays we have ever had. The flights, the hotels, the cars and the planning were spot on. We had only to produce your voucher and everything happened. No snags, no problems and no extras. The Beverly Garland, The Hyatt and the Bellagio Hotels were excellent and the rest were perfectly adequate for a one night stay. We will be passing on your name to friends who are considering a tour or trip to the USA. On behalf of us all thank you so much for the time and trouble that you went to on our behalf to make our holiday faultless. Kind regards Stephen. (Oct 2010)
Hi Jane, Just a quick email to say thanks for organising a great holiday. All the times we have used Just America we have never had any problems whatsoever. Everything ran smoothly throughout the holiday (as always) All the hotels were great. (Loved the Back Bay hotel. The staff there were so friendly and it was central to everything) Harborside was a good choice as well as we were able to use the washer and drier as due to the nature of our holiday we really needed 2 wardrobes and were short of clothes. (Nearly 3 as a couple of days after we left Stowe they had 12” snow. A record for this time of year apparently! So we would have to have bought snow gear as well.) They were very well equipped apartments and should we have wanted to self - cater we would have had no problems whatsoever. We also had cleaning every day whilst there which we had not expected and it was to an exceptionally high standard. Anyhow thank you once again. Very well organised as usual. Kind regards Trish. (Oct 2010) Dear Just America,
we are back from our New England self drive and wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful holiday and everything went very smoothly. The pack from City Tours was excellent and they were really helpful with one query I had. The hotels were great and we were looked after really well everywhere. The SUV was exactly what we needed and the service at Alamo Boston was the best we have had at Alamo. The Fall was just fabulous and the three Shaker Villages which were one of the main reasons for going were beyond my expectations. We have been planning this holiday for 25 years once we were free of school holidays and it fulfilled all our dreams. Our friends were very impressed with the smooth organisation so there may be more business coming your way! Thank you again for all you help and wonderful service - we may not be back next year as first grandchild is due but the wide open spaces are still beckoning! best wishes Eileen 25 Oct 2010
Hi Rosy,
Just a line following our recent trip to USA which you helped to organise and book .....
We had a really great time and everything went more or less like clockwork. All the destinations and hotels worked out great. Did lots of wildlife viewing, hiking and general sightseeing. The contrasts in the holiday between The Black Hills, Badlands, prairies, Wounded Knee etc and then the national parks of Rocky Mountain, Yellowstone and Grand Teton made for a holiday of very varying experiences. Each was very special in its own way.
Highlight of the wildlife was a grizzly bear eating an elk - viewed from about 50-60 yds away. Also saw bison, moose, elk, various other deer, wolf, marmot, prairie dogs, chipmunks, osprey, eagle, vulture.
We did 2800 miles from Denver back to Jackson Hole, so we were glad we opted to fly back from Jackson Hole to Denver - rather than doing a full circular trip. Driving did not seem stressful or too much. We were glad we opted for an SUV - which was on your advice - thanks.
Favourite hotels were Alex Johnson, Occidental and Rusty Parrot. Favourite urban destinations were Cody, Red Lodge and Jackson. Excellent micro brewpubs with great bar food found in Rapid City, Red Lodge, Jackson. Worst food and drink found in Yellowstone - but that has been our experience in the past in US national parks. Poor choices, poor quality and chaotic service. Luckily the wildlife and scenery compensates - but one does question Xanterra's monopoly.
So - thank you very much for your help with the planning and bookings. Also - and most of all - thank you so much for your friendliness which accompanied the competence and efficiency. We would certainly contact you again when we next plan a US holiday. Utah and around - could be next!
King Regards,
Lesley J
Hello Mike,
We have been back now for just over a week and thought you may appreciate some feedback on our holiday.
Overall we can only say that the holiday was fabulous - you got the timing perfect with the foliage at its peak in Vermont and New Hampshire during the week we were there. We think you pitched the accommodation about right although in hindsight we would have upgraded hotels in Toronto and New York. In New York the Crowne Plaza ( Opposite the M&M advert!!) looked a good bet, we used their restaurant a couple of times. We also found Salem more interesting than we thought and an extra day there would have been good.(It was the run up to Halloween ).
Highlights for us were basically everything but for me particularly the rail trip from Boston to NewYork was great. For Jan seeing "Chicago" on Broadway was also special.
Downsides were few, even the flat tyre in Niagra (sic) was devine intervention inasmuch as we got a replacement car (at Buffallo airport) which was far superior to the original. In fact again in hindsight the original car we had at Toronto was poor, the guy who dealt with the tyre said it was in very poor condition and its 55K miles were probably done at 150mph!! May be something to watch, they searched for a car with american plates at Toronto so the choice and quality were not so good. Probably just keen to get rid of it!
So really a big thankyou for your advice and organisation. We had a great time and are now seriously thinking of Washington and the South East of the USA as its the only part of the USA we know nothing about!
Many thanks again
Jan and Ian
Rosy, once again our thanks for putting together a superlative trip. Sandwich, Cape Cod, and the Belfry Inne- excellent. Highly recommended. We had such a fantastic time not least, and I'm sure you won't take credit for this, for our first complementary upgrade to Upper Class!. We even happened on a moment in history with the passing of Ted Kennedy's funeral cortege. Many thanks and looking forward to the next, Paul & Carol, Surrey (Sep 09)
Hi Mike
Thank you very much for helping Cathy and I organise our wonderful holiday to New England in September. We were upgraded to Traveller Plus on our outbound journey, so that was a great start. We had a wonderful time at all the places you booked for us. The West Mountain Inn was our favourite place to stay. Fantastic walks, covered bridges and food. But Rick and Charlene at Farm By The River were wonderful hosts and we would love to go and stay with them again to see the fall colours in and around North Conway. One of the highlights was a perfect blue sky day and a trip up Mount Washington. Boston was fantastic. The Freedom Trail, some great Italian restaurants and we felt so safe walking around at night. The Omni Parker House were great also when the area around our room was a little noisy they managed to put us in a corner two room suite for a reduced rate!
Thanks again and I am sure we will be calling you again soon, possibly the trip from San Francisco up to Seattle we talked about a while ago, or the other way around.
Regards
Paul

Morning Mike, Just to let you know that Tanya & I had a wonderful time over Xmas & New Year &, as usual, all your recommendations & arrangements were superb - especially The West Wind Inn on Sanibel Island.
The seasonal norm for Florida in December is 72 degrees but we were very lucky as 15 days out of our 17 it was either 80 or 81 & with no humidity or rain.
The 2 exceptions were one day at 72 & another at a seemingly "chilly" 58.
We had a fantastic time so huge thanks again from a very satisfied client - just as I was for my American visits you arranged in 1992 & 2001 - excellent.
warm regards,

Hello. I was just sorting through my emails, and came across Just America and yourself and would simply like to thank you, and all in your office, for the wonderful holiday that my family and I thoroughly enjoyed in California
way back in August of last year. (2008). This is someting we have been meaning to do since we returned, but
just kept forgetting to do. Once again thank you for the friendly and efficient way our booking was handled and Happy New Year, and all the very best of luck to you all.
Yours sincerly.
Steve W and family.
Thanks Jane. And thank you for all your help and for the pack you sent us including the maps and personalised itinerary- that's a really lovely touch and very much appreciated!
Kind Regards,
Ailsa
Dear Jane and Mike,
Thank you for organising our holiday to America this summer. We had a wonderful time and all the arrangements worked well. Your company was recommended to us and now we are happy to pass on that recommendation to our family and friends.
Best Wishes
Julie, Rob, Rebecca and Jennifer B
Hi Rosie,
Just wanted to say thanks for all your hard work in helping us have a fantastic holiday. Everything went very well - no hick ups at all. Spent too much and ate too much - but isn't that what holidays are all about!
Exceptionally tired after Bryce, Page and Grand Canyon but experts in packing in a hurry - didn't miss any deadlines even though not prepared for the time change between Nevada and Bryce!!
Certainly, we have some very good memories and loads of photos to bore everyone with.
Megan (19 Aug 2007).
hi mike , just back from a superb holiday, flights were ok apart from the length, we have'n't watched so many films in one go. vegas was good but you needed a degree in machines to understand how to play them, so much to see so little time to do it. no problems with the car once i got used to driving on the wrong side. the accommodation at all of our venues were first class, in the mountains no tv, no mobile phone signals---bliss, the canyons wow! everthing went to plan,no blips at all, weather cloudless, temp varying from 85 in vegas to 105 in scottsdale.your organisation was faultless. this is not a critisism, but if we could have altered anything (hindsight) we would have liked two days at bryce (instead of one) two days only at scottsdale, returning to vegas a day earlier to break up the two flights staying in a motel overnight. as i said this is not critisism it was a brilliant holiday organised superbly, and we highly recommend you. thanks again ,
D & I (20 Sep 2007)
Dear Jane and the team, We have just returned from our Honeymoon in California. Thank you so much for all your hard work and help in booking this wonderful trip. We truly had the time of our lives. The holiday ran smoothly from beginning to end, everything was perfect. The Lowes Hotel in Santa Monica was the best hotel out of the 5, lovely helpful people and they gave us a huge upgrade to a full ocean view room. We don’t tend to spend lots of time in our hotel but here we did as it was perfect. The best place was Santa Barbra, what an amazing place, the hotel was right across from the beach, and they too gave us an upgrade as it was our honeymoon. We loved all the hotels and all the destinations but these were the best 2 Next time we plan a trip to America we will most definitely be emailing you for help. Thank you once again for creating this magical trip. NB (26 Sep 2007) Mike Hi Mike To Naomi
...'May I say, on behalf of all of us, that your efforts in putting this holiday together were outstanding, you have worked very hard and are a credit to your company. I will be recommending 'Just America' to my friends'. Many thanks. Alan Dear Just America It has just occurred to me that I said I would provide some feedback on my trip at the end of October. Firstly, I should say the arrangements (New England Sampler plus New York) went without a hitch. So thank-you for that. We were very happy with the accommodation, and the car hire was fine. Specifically , we were impressed with the Cortina Inn, Killington, as we had the best room in the house, complete with upstairs bedroom, log-fire and jacuzzi! The Edison in NYC is very well located, just off Times Square, as I expect you know. All the other hotels more than met our expectations. So all in all, an excellent trip, enjoyed by all 3 of us, I certainly plan to use Just America again in the future. Best regards, Paul Dear Jane Back into the office after our three weeks in the US - just wanted to say thanks for sorting out the car hire and accommodation. It all went very smoothly, the accommodation was great and we had a terrific holiday. Your recommendation of the detour to Spearfish (Wyoming) was a stroke of genius(!!!) allowing us to see Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, the Badlands and Devil's Tower - plus Spearfish Canyon was a great place to spend a few days and use as a base to explore the area. Thanks again, Simon Dear Mike My wife and I would like to thank you for the very efficient way in which your company organised part of our recent holiday in America. It is rare in this day and age to find a travel company that knows it's subject and operates in a personal and friendly way. We were particularly impressed with the instruction folder a guide us on our way, please give our thanks to Naomi. Needless to say we had a wonderful time and saw a great deal of America not seen before, travelling 4500 miles in 4 weeks. Once again, our sincere thanks for a job well done. John & Wendy Dear Naomi We have now been back from our US holiday for a couple of weeks, and I would like to thank you for organising such a pleasant trip for us. Everything went very smoothly, the accommodation was excellent throughout the trip, and the transport arrangments also went well (apart from a slight problem whilst picking up the hire car from downtown New York, due to an Alamo computer failure resulting from the hurricane in Florida! - but we got the car eventually so not a major disaster). The documentation and maps you provided were invaluable. I would like to comment particularly on two of the hotels you arranged for us - Radio City Apartments in New York - while not of the same standard as the other places we went was perfectly adequate. The rooms were clean and serviced daily, and the location was superb - close to cafes, subway station and many tourist sites. Omni Shoreham Washington DC - I was a little concerned about this location before we went, but when we got there we were delighted. It was so close to the Metro station this was no problem - and we were also able to walk to the zoo. Again there were plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. My husband, we visits Washington on business frequently, said it was the most conveniently located place he had ever stayed. I would not hestiate to recommend your company to anyone planning a similar holiday. Sue Hello Jane I have been meaning to send a little note for some time, to thank you for your help in arranging our recent holiday to Arizona. We had a great time, and and really enjoyed the whole holiday. Tauck Tours did live up to their repuation, and although most of our travel companions on the coach were much older, retired couples, they were charming, and were delighted to have a "young British couple" in their midst. The guides that were booked to join the coach at various places were all well qualified/experts in their field, and this helped us really understand the history and culture of each area. Because we stayed for 3 nights in each place, we felt that we got to know Sedona and the Grand Canyon better than most who only visit for a day, and the flightseeing trip to Monument Valley via Lake Powell was well worth the extra money. The Sheraton Hotel in Fisherman's Wharf was ideally placed, and we highly recommend a nearby restaurant - "Schomas" for excellent seafood. No doubt we will be returning - some time in the future. Sally Dear Just America Just to tell you what a wonderful holiday we had with Tauck Tours heli-hiking in Canada. Great organisation! Harry Hi Naomi, Just a quick email to let you know what a great holiday we had! Everything went smoothly - even the flight! - the helicopter trip was fantastic and we couldn't have asked for nicer accommodation, the Doubletree in Tucson was our favourite. Only one complaint - the pool at the Best Western at Tombstone was being repaired. It is going to be hard to find a holiday to match this one, Arizona has to be my favourite place that I have visited. Many thanks for arranging the holiday so well for us and who knows if I save hard enough we will be able to book something again. Jayne, Steve & Gareth Hello I am just dropping you a quick line to say thankyou for the excellent organisation of our honeymoon to New York, San Francisco and Las Vegas. The hotels selected were in excellent locations and were clean, comfortable and friendly (the Edison - at least for New York standards!) In addition we had no problems either checking into flights or hotels - the Sheraton in San Francisco even gave us a bottle of champagne. Overall we had a holiday to remember which in part was due to Just America. I will be recommending your company to all of our friends and family. Kind regards, Adele and Dominic Dear Mike I felt I just had to write to say thanks for the most brilliant service you gave in organising holidays in America. My two boys and I had a fantastic time and I know our holiday would not have been anything like as good without your help and advice. Our hotel in Las Vegas was definitely in the right area and our stay in the Grand Canyon was magical, being right there on the rim we had the freedom to see the canyon whenever we wanted. Thanks for the encouragement about the driving, we enjoyed this experience almost more than anything. Apart from the freedom and independence we wanted, driving in the States was so interesting, very easy and perfectly fine for just a mum and two boys. I have already recommended your company to friends in the village and would pass your name on to anyone considering a holiday in America. Karen. Dear Sir We have just returned from a wonderful California self-drive tour (California Dreamin') organised by your company. This is the second tour we have taken with Just America and have to congratulate you once again on the arrangements made and the information provided in the itinerary. The hotels selected in general were very good. The Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf (San Francisco), Napa Valley Marriott and those in the national parks were of a very good standard. Mineral Lodge (Lassen Volcanic Park) was the most basic hotel we stayed in. Two beds a shower and toilet. It was compensated for by the very friendly owners and meals they provided. Yosemite View Lodge - (we had a river view room because we were unable to find a room in the lodges within the park). When we saw the room we thought this was far better than the park, being able to sit on our veranda by the side of a rushing river. These rooms also had a small kitchen with microwave and toaster and a large whirlpool bath. The Best Western hotels we found adequate. These all gave a free breakfast but the standard was variable. Thank you once again, I would recommend your company to anyone holidaying in America. Ian Hi Naomi I had an excellent time and everything went smoothly.. well almost. We did have a blowout at Niagara Falls and had to get back to Toronto on a donut tyre which meant I couldn't go over 50MPH and had to endure a continuous barrage of air horn blasts from truckers, but it all added to the experience!!! Alamo changed the car the next day no problem. I also ended up getting 2 free car upgrades when I got to Las Vegas as they had no mid-range cars at the depot, so they gave me an Executive for no extra. The Bellagio (Las Vegas) and Fairmont Royal York (Toronto) were both superb hotels...excellent locations and accommodation no complaints what-so-ever. Again thanks for all your help in sorting out the current holiday. It was superb and as holidays go was probably the best we have ever been on - well my honeymoon was close but we both got run over by a car on the last day, so that spoilt it a bit!!! All the best, Mark |
