Hi Mike and the team, We just got back from our trip to Philadelphia, New York and Boston – just wanted to say thank you again for your arrangements and accommodation choices! We especially loved being in such a great location at the Radio City Apartments in New York – Broadway, Times Square and Fifth Avenue on our doorstep as well as Jewelers’ Row – what more could we want?! The trains between cities were perfect and the information you provided about each place was very useful. Many thanks once again… Just pondering our next trip – maybe Seattle/Vancouver? Will be in touch! Regards, Leanne
Yet another great trip thanks to Just America and your knowledge and expert planning.
We returned last Saturday having driven approx. 2500 miles. The only slight problem was when after two days we discovered that the boot of our Ford Fusion hire car was not locking.
We called in to the Alamo depot at Knoxville airport en route to Nashville and without hesitation and very quickly we were offered a brand new Toyota Camry with full tank to compensate for the inconvenience and we were off and running. That’s what I call customer service, full marks to Alamo.
Hotels were all good and we were particularly impressed with their location and ease of access to the main attractions. Of particular note was our first, the Ellis in Atlanta. From the international terminal we took the shuttle to the domestic terminal bought a return ticket $3 for the MARTA train and got off at the Peachtree station directly opposite the hotel.
Just a short note of thanks to let you know that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our holiday to Chicago, Memphis and New Orleans. It was a resounding success which ticked every box and more. Everything planned worked like clockwork; hotels were very good and in great locations and our Amtrak journeys a pleasant and interesting experience.
Must say, however, that each city had many enjoyable characteristics – Chicago’s architecture and the Terracotta Warrior exhibition in the Field Museum, Graceland in Memphis and the trip on the steamer “Natchez” – one very happy wife!!! Must stop now or I will ramble on enthusiastically for a lot longer.
Sorry for taking so long for this testimonial, but here it is !!!!.
As you know we travelled Route 66 in June 2015 , together with side trips to Monument Valley and Vegas.
We would like to thank you for your advice which was excellent and worth listening to.
The trip was the best thing we have ever done and met all our expectations and more and well worth the effort in planning , we wish we could have spent more time than we did exploring the wonderful places we visited along the way.
We met some wonderful people, saw some brilliant sights and experienced fantastic times.
The hotels were great and mostly in good positions.
The experience was unbelievable and anyone thinking of doing Route 66 we would say go for it as it was a trip of a lifetime.
Take advice from Mike as he knows a trick or two well worth knowing.
Thanks again Mike and Just America for all your help and advice.
Cheers John and Barbara Martin
Just back from our trip to Boston and New England which you helped us plan and we wanted to say a very big thank you for all your help and input into making our trip amazing.
Everything was great, all the hotels were very good, the car pick up from Boston (near the aquarium) was easy, wish getting out of Boston had been as easy. The sat nav was invaluable to us then.
The hotel highlight was the Bluenose Inn at Bar Harbor but make sure you ask for a room in the main house overlooking the bay as it gives you beautiful views.
The ‘fall’ was a little late this year but we did see some spectacular colours especially on the Kancamagus Highway. I’m sure they will be at their peak this week and next, but by then some of the venues will have closed for the season. As ever this is beyond your control!
We have now returned from the above trip and I just wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you once again for making all the arrangements.
Everything went extremely well and smoothly, and there was a nice information pack waiting for us at our first hotel with much useful information and further maps etc. All your recommended hotels were very nice, and very convenient for the areas visited.
I also greatly appreciated your personal advice and attention to all matters relating to the trip, your involvement certainly added much value and made the whole process very simple and easy for us.
So, many thanks once again, and I will definitely be in touch again the next time we will be planning a trip to USA/Canada.
Kind regards, and best wishes to you and your team,
I hope you’re well?
I just wanted to say thank you so much to yourself, Rosy and whomever else helped organise our honeymoon. It truly was the trip of a lifetime and went without a hitch. Each hotel was just superb but I particularly want to mention Tenaya Lodge. It is without a doubt the best hotel both my husband(!) and I have ever been to. The staff kindly gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne in our beautiful room and were incredibly helpful from beginning to end. One word of advice I have for any future clients travelling from San Francisco to Yosemite is not to use the Here App without fully consulting its intended route! It took us to the hotel via the Miami Mountain Road which I’m convinced was the inspiration for Deliverance!
Anyway, thank you all again for helping us create such a memorable honeymoon. We will definitely be returning to help with another holiday once our bank balance has recovered again!
So many thanks
Nic and Rich
Just America would like to point out it was the client’s choice to use the ‘Here’ app., Just America provides maps and guides and does not promote any apps.
I just want to say a big thank you for the organisation of our trip to America. The California Coast by train trip was amazing and great experience with everything going to plan. The hotels were lovely with staff always happy to help. Excellent value for money.
We have been back now for just over a week and thought you may appreciate some feedback on our holiday.
Overall we can only say that the holiday was fabulous – you got the timing perfect with the foliage at its peak in Vermont and New Hampshire during the week we were there. We think you pitched the accommodation about right although in hindsight we would have upgraded hotels in Toronto and New York. In New York the Crowne Plaza ( Opposite the M&M advert!!) looked good
Just a line following our recent trip to USA which you helped to organise and book …..
We had a really great time and everything went more or less like clockwork. All the destinations and hotels worked out great. Did lots of wildlife viewing, hiking and general sightseeing. The contrasts in the holiday between The Black Hills, Badlands, prairies, Wounded Knee etc and then the national parks of Rocky Mountain, Yellowstone and Grand Teton made for a holiday of very varying experiences. Each was very special in its own way.
Highlight of the wildlife was a grizzly bear eating an elk – viewed from about 50-60 yds away. Also saw bison, moose, elk, various other deer, wolf, marmot, prairie dogs, chipmunks, osprey, eagle, vulture.
We did 2800 miles from Denver back to Jackson Hole, so we were glad we opted to fly back from Jackson Hole to Denver – rather than doing a full circular trip. Driving did not seem stressful or too much. We were glad we opted for an SUV – which was on your advice – thanks.
