New England in the Fall

New England fall leaves
Hi Mike, Just back from our trip to Boston and New England which you helped us plan and we wanted to say a very big thank you for all your help and input into making our trip amazing. Everything was great, all the hotels were very good, the car pick up from Boston (near the aquarium) was easy, wish getting out of Boston had been as easy. The sat nav was invaluable to us then. The hotel highlight was the Bluenose Inn at Bar Harbor but make sure you ask for a room in the main house overlooking the bay as it gives you beautiful views. The 'fall' was a little late this year but we did see some spectacular colours especially on the Kancamagus Highway. I'm sure they will be at their peak this week and next, but by then some of the venues will have closed for the season. As ever this is beyond your control! We covered about 1500 miles, far less than our last US trip. As ever the driving in America is so much more pleasant than in the UK. One suggestion: the booklet that you issue it might be good to suggest the top 3/4 sights, venues etc to see in that area, although There area number of web sights that give a wealth of information about what to see, do, where to eat. We are already planning our next trip to America and we will be sure to come to you for advice and a quote. Many thanks for all your help John and Jenny
